The Evolutionary Characteristics of Apple Production Layout in China from 1978 to 2016

ABSTRACT: Based on the apple acreage and output data of 23 provinces in China, LMDI decomposition method barycenter analysis model were used to systematically analyze spatiotemporal characteristics production China from 1978 2016. The results showed that continued increase, layout has moved south-westward; Shaanxi, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Gansu, Hebei, Liaoning, Xinjiang main contributors increase China; yield contributed more was a significant contributing factor growth 17 provinces, whereas expansion other 6 provinces; respectively southwest by 506.63 kilometers 574.12 kilometers, gradually shifted Loess Plateau. To stabilize effective supply maintain industrial security, policymakers should attach importance fundamental role technological progress development industry, bring into play progress, economic, social, environmental effects industry agglomeration optimizing strengthening policy guidance regulatory measures.
